Introductions
Hi to All
I am currently completing my Advanced Diploma in Digital Media and have learnt so many interesting subjects in regards to Information Technology since I started attending Tafe in the year 2000.
Elearning - I discovered several years ago was the way I wanted to learn; I like to be able to see how something works with instructions on how to use it.
I seem to be able to retain that information better than by listening to someone garble away how to do things and then trying to figure out what they meant and then getting lost in the process...
I amsure that there are lots of other people out there who need the visual aspect of learning thats why elearning has been such a great success....

I prefer e-learning in video tutorial format.
I usually start in power point for the layout then I use camtasia to record it to video. I than edit it add sound and voice over and any transitions in camtasia. I either upload it to Divshare or Viddler as a wmv the file size is smaller. Slide share is ok but it looses all the extras you add to your elearning project.

Hi everone.
My name's Luke, I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Learning Management (secondary and VET) at CQU. I have a history in web design and development, and so I feel as though I have lots of prior knowledge to bring to the table in regards to eLearning.

Hi Jabit!
What kind of things do you do via eLearning. Do you watch powerpoints/ video tutorials?? We would love to know what kind work best for you on eLearning. I use slideshare a lot with my eLearning- to present the information in a visual format.
